Long weekend. I had time to do some writing. I do this thing where I start one draft, eventually decide it doesn't have enough substance, but in the research process I discover 3 new things to explore, which turn into their own drafts. Now I have a lot of drafts. I should really try to finish one. I iterated on a few of them, and I might be ready to publish one soon.
In any case, I'm glad I added a drafting feature to my static site generator. Now that I know I don't have to publish what I write, It's considerably lowered my activation energy for just getting words on the page. But now I have too many drafts. A good problem to have, I guess. Even though I haven't figured out how to publish consistently yet, it's certainly pushing me to do a lot more recreational research, which is fun and good for me.
Played a bit more 868-BACK. Felt really powerful when I discovered a synergy between 3 progs. Looking forward to playing more.
I started watching Tsoding on Youtube recently. I really admire his clear explanations and his facility with his tools. It shows that he has a deep understanding of the subject matter, down to the nitty-gritty details, which in turn shows he has a great attitude towards learning himself.
